Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. Not only is the food great (!!) but it causes me to take a moment to reflect.

I am thankful for life, because every day above ground is a good day.

I am thankful for the opportunity to be heard, as well as giving a voice to others.

I am thankful for love — having it in my life, while being able to express it.

I am thankful for my amazingly supportive husband who is there for the crazy ride that can be my life.

Most of all, I am thankful to all of you for reading my musings, giving your thoughts, and providing your support.

Wishing you all the best today and every day!

Why Such Craziness?

Why Such Craziness?

Violence mars Black Friday frenzy

Shootings, stabbing, robbery and brawls taint the Black Friday shopping frenzy, as bargain-hunters mob malls across the US.

I always love seeing how other countries view us in their news coverage of US events.  It is embarrassing that people feel the need to act a fool on Black Friday…especially when the deals really aren’t that great. Weigh in and tell me what you think!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Resident Legal Diva!

Just a quick note to wish everyone a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving.  Enjoy food, family, friends, and of course, football.

Think about all the good in your life. I will say that I am so thankful for a supportive husband, and the ability to write. Not only to write, but to be heard! What we have as bloggers is a privilege that many do not….whether it is because of a lack of freedom of speech, or lack of access to technology.

As I have learned the hard way, life is so fragile. Stuff will be at stores tomorrow; but your loved ones may not be here with you. Resist that crazy consumerism urge to shop today!

Instead, enjoy today (and every day) with those you value.

One love, peace and blessings.
